One American 400-meter hurdler grabbed the world lead from another Friday in the indoor 400 meters.

Georganne Moline clocked a personal-best 51.39 seconds at the Texas Tech Shootout to move ahead of Kentucky freshman Sydney McLaughlin, who ran 51.44 on Feb. 3 at the Rod McCravy Memorial.

Moline, who ran 52.35 in her indoor opener Jan. 20 in Iowa, had an indoor personal best of 52.09 in 2013. She clocked 51.93 outdoors last year in Tucson.

Moline is entered in the 400 at the USATF Indoor Championships, scheduled for Feb. 17-18 in Albuquerque, N.M.
